David Furniss of St. John’s U.C.C. has asked me to perform a recital. Why is that so exciting? Because it’s a whole lot of me singing whatever I like. I’m actually very honored. David doesn’t ask just anyone to perform a recital. The congregation has been very supportive of me, and I’m grateful for such an opportunity. The recital is scheduled for February 15, 2009 @ 4pm. Mark your calendars now because this is one night only.

Second, I spent today at the studio of Scott Church. I needed new headshots, and I knew he was the man to see. I’ve been following his career for several years, and I’m enthralled with his work. We spent several hours creating some beautiful shots. I’ve uploaded one already in the Media section. I’ll be releasing the others over time. Hey, it keeps you coming back.

So mark your calendars. February 15, 2009 @ 4pm - St. John's. No, I can’t say it enough.

New Photos!

Hello everyone. I'm not staring in this one. I'm back working the technical side. I'm the assistant director, and I'm running lights and sound.

The Foreigner is a very funny show. The scene is a fishing lodge in rural Georgia often visited by "Froggy" LeSeuer, a British demolition expert who occasionally runs training sessions at a nearby army base. This time "Froggy" has brought along a friend, a pathologically shy man named Charlie who is overcome with fear at the thought of making conversation with strangers. So "Froggy," before departing, tells all assembled that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and speaks no English. Once alone the fun really begins, as Charlie overhears more than he should made with the thought that Charlie doesn't understand a word being said. That he does fuels the nonstop hilarity of the play and sets up the wildly funny climax in which things go uproariously awry for the "bad guys," and the "good guys" emerge triumphant.

Show Dates: June 13, 14, 15*, 20, 21, 22*, 27, 28, 29*
All evening performances 8 PM, * Sunday matinee 2 PM
Dutch Country Players
795 Ridge Road, Telford, PA 18969, 215-234-0966
http://www.dutchcountryplayers.com/ for more details.

Greetings and Salutations

Hello everyone.
